Clare Wineries & Breweries
A circuit of our neighbouring cellar doors would take in Stonebridge, Eldredge Clare Wineries, Jeanneret, Skillogalee, Penna Lane, Kilikanoon and Mitchells and would offer world class wines in beautiful surroundings. The Little Red Grape at Sevenhill acts as a Cellar Door for small wineries in the Clare Valley who don’t have their own.
Within easy reach are the Monastic Sevenhill Cellars, Penwortham is home to Pearsons, Watervale to the historic Quelltaler/ Annies Lane, as well as Stephen John, Shut the Gate and Crabtrees, further south are Claymore, Clos Clare, O’Leary Walker, Tim Gramp, Grossets, MtHorrocks and Taylors in Auburn.
Head to Clare for Tim Adams, Kirrihill, Knappstein Wines and beer, MtSurmon, Mr Micks, Greg Cooley, Cardinham, Phoenix, Mark Barry or Jim Barry. New cellar doors appear regularly. Keep a look out and check opening times which can vary.
There are breweries at Knappstein, Jeanneret and Pikes and beer is brewed for Paulletts
Martindale Hall – the ultimate bachelor pad in the grand English style. An absolute must to visit. This was the house used as the school in "Picnic at Hanging Rock".
Mintaro Village is a major historical settlement, well worth a stroll. Explore the Maze or call in to the historic Magpie and Stump Hotel.
The Riesling trail follows the old rail line from north of Clare to Auburn, cycle to your favourite wineries or enjoy a ramble. The Rattler cycle trail has been extended to Riverton. Cycles can be delivered from Clare Valley Cycles to Molly's Chase, call 08 8842 2782 or send them an email.

Wining and Dining
Skillogalee is close, a pleasant walk best done in daylight, a delightful setting, fine wines and good food.
Stonebridge Wines has frequent Pizza sessions in an informal setting.
Sevenhill Hotel offers a good range of pub grub, superb collection of Clare Valley wines in the cellar and a good local pub atmosphere.
Reilly's at Mintaro offer gourmet food at value prices.
The Rising Sun at Auburn offers meals in a traditional country hotel setting.
Pauletts Bush Devine Cafe offers balcony dining with wonderful food including ingredients from their garden, with a stunning view from every table.
“Mr Mick” does a top quality lunchtime tapas.

A good range of Asian delights is available at The Asian Kitchen in Clare. Takeaway is available.
Indian meals are available dine in or take away from Indii in the main street of Clare. Delivery to Molly's Chase can be arranged for a small charge.
The pubs in Clare all offer good food, has good value pub grub. Bentleys offers good quality and value and can be recommended. The Taminga has also had a major makeover, and is more family orientated.
